Account Management
Every account runs on a real device. You control the identity, the niche targeting, and the posting. The device handles the rest.
Add Accounts
Buy accounts through Doublespeed to secure dedicated posting slots. Each account maps to a specific device. Once purchased, accounts appear in your organization ready for configuration.
Edit Accounts
Go to Accounts to manage your profiles. The accounts table shows every account with its current settings and status.
You can:
- Edit any field directly in the table: username, name, bio, gender, age, search terms.
- Drag down any field to apply the same value (or a pattern) across multiple accounts at once. This is the fastest way to configure a batch.
- Use the floating chat bar at the bottom to prompt edits in bulk. Type something like "make all bios about skincare tips for women over 40" and it fills them across your accounts.
- Press Save Changes to apply everything.
Username
Keep it human and niche-aligned. Avoid random strings or numbers.
Examples: @lily.watsonn, @jamie.speakss, @dianee.keatingg_
For branded accounts, include a benefit or audience keyword. Example: @foamrollerrelief
Usernames are automatically checked for availability and slightly adjusted if taken.
Name
Your display name. Shows identity or describes the persona.
Examples: James, Diane, Maya (Thrift Hauls), Coach Eli (Home Workouts), Ava | NYC Tax Tips
Bio
Write a one-liner that either:
- Describes the persona in as few words as possible. "me and my thoughts", "God, family, and health"
- Plugs your product directly. "FitTrack on the App Store"
- Or both. "fittrack intern"
Gender and Age
Match the persona. Default to 18 to 28 unless your niche skews older or younger.
Example: 50-year-old female for recovery content targeting women over 40.
Search Terms
This is the most important field. Search terms guide account warming and audience targeting. Use 2 to 5 terms, mixing broad and specific.
The best way to pick search terms: open TikTok on your own phone. Start typing what you think people in your niche would search. TikTok's autocomplete shows what others are actively searching. Pick the top suggestions that fit and repeat this a few times.
Examples (for a vibrating foam roller product): "foam rolling over 50", "hip mobility routine women 50s", "vibration roller benefits", "morning stretch routine for stiff back", "reduce muscle soreness after walking"
Account Status
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Account is being provisioned to a device |
| Setup Required | We need your profile details (username, bio, photo, search terms) before warming can start |
| Needs Allocation | Waiting for a device slot to free up |
| Warming | Building activity patterns (7 days). During this phase, the account may not yet appear on TikTok under your chosen username. The username is applied after initial warming completes, so this is normal |
| Ready | Warmed and able to post |
| Inactive | Not in use. Will not be used for posting |
| Burned | Restricted by the platform. Message us; flagged accounts get replaced |
More on warming and statuses in the FAQ.
The dashboard above your accounts shows total followers, total views, and engagement rate, with trends over 7, 14, or 30 days.
Warming Period (7 Days)
New accounts go through a mandatory warming period before they can post. This is intentional. The warming phase builds the activity history that makes accounts look authentic to the platform.
- Days 1 to 7: Complete profile setup. Accounts automatically follow 10 to 20 accounts daily, like posts, and train themselves on what content to watch fully or partially. All based on your search terms.
- Day 8+: Accounts move to Ready status and can post consistently.
During warming, accounts cannot post. Do not skip this. Accounts that post immediately after creation get flagged.
Workflow: Setting Up New Accounts
- Buy accounts from the Accounts tab.
- Open Manage Accounts. You will see blank rows for each new account.
- Fill in usernames. Type a username for the first account. Drag down to apply a pattern, or type each one. The system checks availability and adjusts if taken.
- Fill in name, bio, gender, age. Same drag-down pattern works. Use the floating chat bar to say "make all bios about skincare tips for women over 40" and it fills them in bulk.
- Add search terms. 2 to 5 per account. These determine what TikTok shows the account during warming and what audience the account lands in. This is the field that matters most.
- Save Changes.
- Wait 7 days. Accounts warm automatically. Check back to see status change from Warming to Ready.
- Start posting. Once Ready, go to Posts > Create Post and schedule your first batch.
Best Practices
- Keep username, name, bio, and search terms aligned. An account about skincare should not have search terms about cars.
- Refresh bios monthly to test persona vs. product plugs.
- Rotate search terms every two weeks to match trends.
- Maintain roughly 80% production accounts and 20% warming/testing to ensure consistent capacity.
- Replace burned accounts quickly. They still cost $150/month while sitting idle.
